Buenos Aires will host the Postdoc in Germany 2026 workshop on March 12. The event is organised by Freie Universität Berlin, Technische Universität München, Universitätsallianz Ruhr, Universität Münster and Universität Potsdam and will present opportunities for postdoctoral stays in Germany, including funding options and information on possible host institutions. The workshop is free of charge and will take place at the Consejo Interuniversitario Nacional (CIN) from 9:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. The registration deadline is March 5.

Registration

The workshop is aimed at early-stage researchers who are in the final stages of their doctoral studies or who completed their doctorate no more than four years ago. After the presentations by the institutions, participants will have the opportunity to hold one-on-one meetings with the respective representatives in a rotation format, changing every 15 minutes.

The event will be held in English and is supported by the DAAD Information Centre in Buenos Aires, the German Research Foundation, the Alexander von Humboldt Foundation and EURAXESS. It is co-organised and hosted by CIN. The event is also supported by the German Embassy in Buenos Aires. The workshop will also take place in Porto Alegre (March 3), São Paulo (March 5) and Montevideo (March 10).
