The German Centre for Research and Innovation (DWIH) São Paulo is hosting the panel discussion “From Science to Startup: Ecosystem Perspectives from Brazil and Germany” on 13 May at 6.30 pm as part of São Paulo Innovation Week (SPIW). The event is open to all registered participants of SPIW and is aimed at founders, university managers, investors, industry representatives and policy-makers interested in strengthening science-based entrepreneurship. One of the panellists is Prof. Dr Pedro José Marron from the University Alliance Ruhr.

The panel brings together experts from Brazil and Germany to examine the fundamentals of the emergence, development and consolidation of science-based start-ups from a comparative perspective. The aim of the discussion is to identify what Brazil and Germany can learn from one another in the field of innovation ecosystems, thereby generating concrete insights for decision-makers and key players in the sector. The event will be held in English.
