Senior Fellowship Programme 2027/28 – College for Social Sciences and Humanities
The College for Social Sciences and Humanities (UA Ruhr) has opened a new call for its International Senior Fellowship Programme. Located in Essen, Germany, the College will award up to 20 Senior Fellowships to established international scholars in the social sciences and humanities for a research stay in its facilities. The call for applications is open until 15 May 2026.
The Senior Fellowship Programme is aimed at established scholars in the social sciences and the humanities who demonstrate an internationally recognised, outstanding research profile and are active members at a foreign university or research institution. The awarded Senior Fellows will have the opportunity to pursue an independent research project alongside a tandem partner from the University Alliance Ruhr (University of Duisburg-Essen, Ruhr University Bochum, and TU Dortmund University) for six months. The fellowships at the College in Essen may start in March or September 2027.
