Raw Materials Partnership: First Joint Transnational Call 2026

The Call
The call brings together 37 funders from 25 countries, committing nearly €40 million in total. Proposals should contribute to improving access to raw materials while promoting circular economy practices, sustainability, and reduced social and environmental costs. Inter- and transdisciplinary approaches are strongly encouraged.
The thematic scope draws on RAMP's Strategic Research and Innovation Agenda and covers six topics: resilient supply from primary sources; secondary sources for raw materials access; efficient use of raw materials in design and production; overcoming technological barriers to circularity; putting circular economy into action; and innovative approaches to analysing raw materials value chains.
Brazil is the only Latin American country among the non-European participating countries, with an exceptionally broad funding structure.
